History

Zannata was brought to the Belgian market by VDB Parts NV in 2000. The Belgian company that can also call itself the manufacturer of the famous Oxford bicycles, among others. At the cradle of the launch of Zannata was Mr. Johan Moeyersons, who, with his very dynamic and direct no-nonsense approach, launched the brand in no time with beautiful models and a sophisticated marketing strategy. These included sponsoring the Pfaff Cycling Team, collaborating with Roland Liboton to introduce the carbon cross bike, the Z46, and also Thibau Nys, who rode his first rides as a little boy on a Zannata.

The biggest stunt, however, was the cooperation agreement with the Roodhooft brothers and the fact that Mathieu Van Der Poel became junior world champion at “Z88 — The Blade”.

This was followed by many more Belgian titles with Sanne Cant and Zannata became the proud sponsor of the Veranda's Willems — Accent professional team. The highlight of the brand was in the years 2012 — 2014, when Zannata was widely known as an innovative, high-quality and well-priced Belgian quality brand.

However, due to reorganizations within the company, Zannata quietly began to descend into a soft life without new innovations and ambition.

The Zannata Revolta

In mid-2025, the new management of VDB Parts NV announced that they had reached a cooperation agreement with the man who created the project to bring the brand back to where it belongs, namely at the top among the biggest brands.

And sure enough, the old breath of fresh air is flying through Zannata's range like a tornado in 2026.

“Zannata is Reloaded... 2Win”

The Zannata Reloaded... 2Win spell betrays the brand's new ambition. For 2026, the new focus is back on innovation and technology.

In addition, the new Z80 carbon frame was already presented as an entry-level model at the end of 2025 and the new Z81 frame will be presented at the Velofollies bike fair. The Z81 is a model specifically for women and/or kids with a special geometry.

The new alloy range is also ready with all cables integrated and the development of the new Z86, which is scheduled to be released in the spring of 2026.

A lot of work has also been done on the design, with the introduction of the former typeface of yesteryear once again having its place on the frames. It all looks very nice and brings the symbolism of past success to the present and to future ambitions.
